The first thing that I noticed is that this is a map not just of the Natchez Trace but of the states surrounding the Trace. I live within an hour of the start of the Trace near Nashville TN. I have "park maps" that are specifically for the Trace... those other maps just don't compare to the Butler maps. The Butler map shows gas, lodging and restaurants available along the trace and that can be critical for those traveling. Plus other attractions.

GPS has its place but it will never replace a good map. Especially in the places I go... in some places the GPS is more lost than the people trying to use it. I can't count the times a GPS tried to go where there aren't even roads or the maps that don't show "all" the roads or the things actually needed.
The map is great can't wait to get on the road.
Planning a Trace Run in June. This map is really good. All Butler maps are really good.
One side is a huge map of the entire Natchez Trace, complete with 3 inserts showing Top Hikes & Walks, RV Traveler's Guide, and top 20 Campgrounds. The back side breaks the Trace down into 7 sections and shows for each Things Not to Miss, Tips, Hikes, Historic Lodging, Legends and Lore.

Great details in the maps. The points of interest are easy to find. These maps are perfect for motorcycle rides and vacations.

Having a hard copy map just adds to the preparedness phase motorcycling anywhere. Great quality and value make it a winner!
